ECO Cultural Tourism (ECT) Islands has launched a 7,107 Islands Cruise covering the Philippine tourism triangle of Palawan, Boracay and Puerto Galera.
The fully equipped 350-bed luxury liner has a casino, bar, restaurant, three sundecks, spa, piano bar, gym and conference rooms.
From June to October, it offers four-night inter-island cruises in northern Palawan, with day stops at three of ECT's 11 islands in the Calamianes.
Boracay-Coron cruises run from October to December, while tourism triangle cruises start in January 2009. The cruise can be taken in segments and is five per cent commissionable to agents.
Meanwhile, ECT executive assistant to the chairman, Mr Stevie Tajanlangit, said its 54-room Gateway Hotel will open in July in the Coron Harbor Town integrated project in Palawan.
ECT's three-billion-peso (US$66 million) Carabao Island Airport will be ready by 2011 to service passengers to Boracay and neighbouring destinations.
ECT still has 30 hectares left of its 80-hectare Boracay Ecotourism Village Resort, after selling tracts of land to Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts and San Miguel Properties, among others.
Shangri-La opens its 217-room resort and spa in December, while San Miguel intends to build a 2.5-billion-peso mixed-use development including a luxury resort on its 28 hectares.
